Are There Limits To The Personal Checks Walmart Can Cash?

There are limits to the dollar amount of checks that Walmart can cash. These can vary by location, but generally, Walmart limits two-party personal checks to $200 and business-issued checks to $5,000.

During tax season, Walmart will typically cash checks up to $7,500. However, before you bring in an exceptionally large check, it may save you time to call ahead to make sure your local Walmart can cash a check of that amount.

How Much Does Personal Check Cashing Cost At Walmart?

If you are cashing a personal check, the fee ranges from a few cents to $6 depending on the check’s amount.
